Our History
The Sales Tax Sisters (STS) is the sister company (no pun intended) of Thomas, Thomas, & Thomas, P.C. If you can’t tell, Thomas, Thomas, and Thomas, P.C. is a family business that was initially started by our late mother, Barbara J. Thomas, CPA. She devoted the majority of her professional career to sales and use tax compliance. After we joined the firm, we decided to create Thomas, Thomas, and Thomas, PC, a state and local tax consulting firm.
STS started in 2021 when we noticed that accountants and bookkeepers needed a resource to help them address the sales and use tax compliance needs of their clients'. While the focus was initially only on education, we have expanded our offerings to include a myriad of services from nexus studies and educational seminars to sales and use tax audit assistance.
Our goal is to team up with accounting professionals to tackle their clients' sales and use tax needs with our trademark style and a dash of fun. And if you’re looking for a third-party sales tax service provider, we’re totally game! 🤓
